Three Witches Frog Bath Bomb
Double, double toil and trouble! The classic recipe of eye of newt and toe of frog comprised just a few of the many ingredients used by the Three Witches in Shakespeare’s Macbeth. Despite all of the creatures used in their potion being mere nicknames for household herbs and plants, the reference is a nod to all those frogs and toads who have hopped throughout the history of witchcraft. Often considered familiars like cats, frogs have had the same pleasure and predicaments associated with their witchy caretakers, both feared and revered for their mystery and power. Our froggy bomb pays homage to those amphibian ancestors in the hopes of bringing you some of their good fortune and prophecies!
The frog that the sisters chose for their divining concoction is merely just another name for the common yet scentless buttercup flower. To match that pleasant yellow flower, we’ve chosen the warm fragrance of lemongrass for it’s subtle sweetness and for its psychic properties of enhancing communication and repelling evil energies. Sage further protects and shields from any wayward entities, just as former froggy familiars did in the past.
Hidden inside is a Green Sardonyx crystal!
Gently hold bath bomb into warm bath water and then slowly release to watch it foam and fizz!
